Tierce Asked: How to get rid of acne in four weeks?

Alright, here's the deal, I have a science award presentation in the middle of August. And I have moderate acne that is a nuisance. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was just pictures with friends. But the media's going to be there and it's going to be a pretty big deal. So I want to look good and what not. So, as my question states, how can I get rid of my acne (clear my face) within four to five weeks? Or do you have any tips or homemade remedies that could help with clearing my face up.

Information that might help:
I irregularly use the Neutrogena Wave twice a day. It's kind of an on and off thing. (I know I should be doing it everyday, so don't ridicule)
I don't have any money that I can just spend on Proactiv or skin ID or other remedies like that. I need cheap ways (preferably free) and tips that can easily be done at home.
I can't go to a dermatologist because I don't have the money and I don't think that's necessary for my case.
I know personalized treatments work better, but I kind of need a somewhat generic one that works according to your knowledge.
